Dr. Abdeldjelil Belarbi

Abdeldjelil "DJ" Belarbi is a Structural Engineer and Researcher whose research deals with the design, evaluation, and rehabilitation of reinforced and prestressed concrete bridges and buildings. He is currently the Hugh Roy and Lillie Cranz Cullen Distinguished Professor at University of Houston and previously a Distinguished Professor of Civil Engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology.

Amar Chaker

Dr. Chaker obtained a degree of “Ingénieur Civil” from “Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées”, Paris, France and a Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Hassan Boukari

Hacene Boukari, PhD, is a Associate Professor of physics at Delaware State University. He obtained his PhD degree from University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland, while working on a 22-million-dollar NASA-funded project to design, build, and operate a high-resolution spectrometer for studying superfluids under microgravity aboard NASA Space Shuttle.

Dr. Hakima Amri

Hakima Amri is Professor of Biochemistry and Physiology at Georgetown University in the Department of Biochemistry and Cellular and Molecular Biology with over 25 years of experience in research and graduate education.

Dr. Hind Bouk'Hil. PhD owner and CEO Spin Safety

Dr Hind Bouk’hil was born and raised in Algeria. She received her BS in Physics and her BS in E.E.A. (Electronics Electrotechnics Automatics) from University of Rennes 1 (Rennes, France). She went on to receive a M.Sc. in « Signals and Images in Biology and Medicine » (DEA « SIBM », Diplôme d’Etudes Approfondies) during which she specialized in Nuclear Physics applied to Medical Imaging.

Leila Hamroun-Yazid

Leila Hamroun-Yazid, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, is the founder of Past Forward Architecture, an architectural practice based in Newark, DE providing design, planning, management and cultural analysis services primarily for existing buildings, with a mission to promote a preservation strategy of economic, cultural and social relevance.

Dr. Lotfi Belblidia

Dr. Lotfi Belblidia has a wide range of experience in nuclear engineering both in thermal-hydraulics and in reactor physics. He has been working in the field for more than 30 years, both in the United States and in Europe. He is Senior Nuclear Engineer with Studsvik, a Swedish company leader in software and services to the nuclear industry around the world, where he has been mostly involved in transient calculations. The last few years he has focused on developing and implemented advanced core models in training simulators.

Rahmouna Rouni

Rahmouna Rouni is the former president and one of the founding members of the Maghreb-American Health Foundation, Inc. She is also specialized in the Quality management Systems implementation, Performance improvement and regulatory Compliance.

Taha Merghoub

Taha Merghoub, PhD was born and raised in Algeria. He received his B.A. degree from the University of Algiers, Algeria, DES (Diplôme D’Etudes Supérieures) in Genetics. He went on to receive a M.S. (Applied Biology and Genetics) and Ph.D. degree (Human Genetics). He is currently faculty (Associate Attending Lab Member) in the Melanoma and Immunotherapeutics Service, Department of Medicine, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC), New York, USA. He is the co-director of the Ludwig collaborative laboratory at MSK. He is also the lead for the tissue repository of the Melanoma disease management team at MSKCC and he is a Member Researcher of the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy at MSK.
